The Beautiful Bravery Project

Brighten your day with Henna!
For many patients suffering from cancer, the road to recovery is paved with loss: the loss of hair, breasts, self-esteem, hope.  In honor of my grandmother, Wanda, who loved henna the moment I introduced it to her, I developed the Beautiful Bravery Project.

The mission of The Artful Cricket's "Beautiful Bravery" project is to help cancer patients and survivors reclaim some of that hope and self-esteem, to remind them that they are beautiful, brave warriors.

The Beautiful Bravery Project - Torso workImage used by direct permission of Client
Any Survivor who makes an appointment for a "henna crown" or chest/torso work will receive 20% off standard individual appointment hourly rates!

If you are currently undergoing treatment for cancer, please take a moment to speak with your doctor before scheduling your appointment.  Let them know that my paste is hand made using the following ingredients:
  • Organic, unadulterated Rajasthani henna powder
  • Distilled water
  • Theraputic quality lavender & frankincense essential oils

If your doctor has concerns about any of these ingredients as being potentially interactive with your treatments, I recommend waiting until you have completed your regimen before scheduling your appointment.

COVID SAFETY:
  • All individuals within the appointment venue must wear a mask properly (fully covering nose and mouth) for the entirety of the henna appointment.
  • Both the client and the artist will wash their hands or use hand sanitizer immediately prior to henna application.
  • All henna appointment accouterments will be sanitized with either alcohol wipes or spray disinfectant prior to each client.
I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during these unusual times!
